Ideas - Blair Witch Project
This picture is took from the film The Blair Witch Project. This shot is to show that someone has died but you don't know who the murderer is, this is what helped us create our idea for our film as we decided to use aspects from this film as we didn't want the audience to see who the killer was, to leave them questioning and in suspence.
Ideas - Shrooms
This shot is from the film Shrooms, this shows the girl running though the woods. This shot inspried us as this is what we wanted our film to visually look like, as this long shot shows the darkness of the woods and creates a 'scary' atomosphere which is what we want the audience to feel.
Ideas - Shrooms
This trailer is for the horror film Shrooms, which is where we mainly collected most of ideas from. We liked the idea of a group of young people going into the woods and everything turning into a nightmare. This horror film influenced our film as we took the idea of taking drugs but changed it in our own unique way so that there is no obvious killer.
This timeline was from the opening scene of the horror film The Shining. On here I wrote down the exact second when different credits appear, when the music changed and what effects are used. I also put down when the camera shots change and the different angles. This showed us exactly what a professional opening scene looks like.
